Heinz Erhardt’s piano compositions are his poems without words. His musical style can be categorized as the Romantic. It describes something or tells stories. It is sometimes poetic, sometimes funny and sometimes highly dramatic. It has a humour with deep meanings and is harmonic and entertaining. In the way he wrote aphorism, he composed his musical motives. They are based on the same themes such as feelings, nature and daily happenings as with his poems. It is a sensational discovery of Heinz Erhardt’s unknown talent. He was able to express himself as well with music as with words, through which he became well known.
